Patterson’s first proper release in 1999, Red + Orange + Everything In Between, was released while Ben Reyes was still the band’s drummer. Patterson displays their unique lineup on this record, with the songs being sung by whoever wrote the lyrics, leading the band to have no proper lead singer.[4]

- “The Credits” plays as a subtle tune akin to elevator music as a robotic synthesized (possibly text-to-speech) voice speaks in the background. It serves as a literal credits for the album.[1]
- Ben Murphy is credited on the insert as Ben “Hoagie” Murphy, while Reyes is credited as “Turd”. These were both nicknames the two had at the time.[2]

In the spring of 2000, Ben Reyes left Patterson, which put the band on hiatus for about a week.[5] Patrick was brought in as a replacement shortly after. Patterson worked on their next record titled Well Kept Lawns during this time.[4] This culminated in a four-song demo that was scrapped in favor of starting over.

- Although it is not confirmed, Patrick Stump seemingly has vocals on this demo’s version of “Nightfall”, just like on the Anchor LP.
- “British Guys” is the only track not carried over for recording on the Anchor LP.[3]
Unreleased – Recorded by John Emerson[4]
Tracks 1, 3, and 4 on the four-song demo were carried over and rerecorded for the Anchor LP. The Anchor LP was recorded with producer John Emerson in Elmhurst, IL, who recorded several other local bands.[4] The re-recordings have a stronger emphasis on the guitar. Notably, the Anchor LP is Patterson’s only recording in which Patrick plays anything other than the drums.

- Patrick has backing vocals on “Nightfall” and played the organ on “Dance of the Dead”.[3]
- A cover was never created for the LP; rather, the cover used on the DuPage County Hardcore Archive is a graphic that was used on a Patterson t-shirt.[4]

Due to the nature of obtaining this compilation for the archive, it has its own dedicated section. This compilation was put together by FSP Productions and features multiple bands along with Patterson. It was never released, and around 100 were burned. FSP Productions has donated the Patterson tracks from the compilation for our archive.[6]

- Due to not having contact with members of the other bands featured on this compilation, the rest of the tracks will not be released. The final track included is a bonus track and features another member of Fisting Vanessa.[6]
- These tracks are the same exact recordings found on the Dan Agosto 4-song demo, but feature slight mixing differences, and adlibs can be found throughout all four tracks.
