Self-release – No known recording/production information
Arma Angelus’s three-song demo was recorded with bandmates Andy Hurley, Karl Hlavinka, and Seth Ingebrigtson. This is the only recording the latter two are featured on for the band.[1] The demo comes in a slim CD case, but other variations house it in a manila envelope.[2][3]

- Despite Pete Wentz calling The Personal Is Political Arma Angelus’s “first” demo, evidence points to a possible earlier one.[9] A version of the demo with distinct packaging was posted to Discogs with only two unknown songs listed.[3] When asked for comment, neither Jay Jancetic nor Tim Miller could recall if it was a completely separate demo or not.[5][6]
Happy Couples Never Last / Let It Burn Records – Recorded and engineered by Sean O’Keefe
Arma Angelus’s debut EP was first released on local label Happy Couples Never Last, before later being re-released on German-based label Let It Burn.[7] In some HCNL pressings, an extra sheet of informational paper about the band was included.[8]

- This EP was the only recording made with Tim McIlrath in the band.[7]
- The layout and design of this EP were created by former bandmate Karl Hlavinka.[7]
Eulogy Recordings – Recorded and produced by Adam Dutkiewicz
The band’s first and only record would follow shortly after their EP, on the Eulogy Records label. Arma Angelus’s deal with Eulogy entailed recording three full-length albums, but broke up before doing so.[5]

Trivia
- The person pictured on the cover and album booklet for Where Sleeplessness Is Rest From Nightmares is sometimes mistaken for a woman, but it is actually Karl Hlavinka, who played in the band prior to this record.
- This album was recorded during the week of 9/11. Tim Miller, drummer, had recorded his drum parts first and left Boston the night of 9/10. The rest of the band worried he had been caught in the attacks the following morning until they heard from him again later.[1][5]
